Here at SSMC, we are learning as much as we can about Food Systems for this year’s Indicators Report focused on the topic. We are excited to be a small part of a much broader movement across the region and the country to make “good food” the norm. Next week, we’re hosting an Indicators Launch & Lunch on Growing Food in San Mateo County, and the evening before our friends at the Burlingame Citizens’ Environmental Council are hosting a screening of the documentary “Edible City.” We hope to see you at these wonderful events!
In the mean time, here’s a fantastic timeline of the Good Food movement we found in the course of our research that we thought you’d enjoy.
