Sustainability Ideas Bank Database – $5,000

SSMC’s Sustainability Ideas Bank shares successful sustainability policies and programs that have been implemented by local governments and businesses to accelerate sustainability. Your contribution will help build a searchable database that enables people to easily access solutions in the Sustainability Ideas Bank by topic, keywords and other criteria. We will acknowledge your support on our website and in our outreach.

Sustainability Ideas Bank Research – $2,500

Your support will allow us to engage a researcher or intern who meets with local sustainability leaders and expands the Ideas Bank with at least a dozen additional solutions over a three-month period.

Indicators Report Launch – $1,500

We invite your support of our annual Indicators Report Launch each fall, when we report on sustainability progress by local cities and San Mateo County. You will be introduced to attendees and your name and logo will be included on the report, which lives on our website and can be accessed via a searchable database.

Experts Roundtable – $1,000

We regularly convene experts on sustainability topics to evaluate new solutions proposed for the Sustainability Ideas Bank. They frequently suggest other ideas they would like to see investigated. Your support of an Experts Roundtable entitles you to suggest the topic discussed and join the conversation.

Happy Hour – $500

As the sponsor of one of our monthly Happy Hours, you’ll get to select the topic of a one-hour discussion with one guest speaker, followed by break-out discussions with a wide variety of attendees engaged in sustainability issues. You will be introduced to the group and a transcript will be provided.
